Belt conveyor, at present, besides rubber belt, conveyor belt has other materials (such as pvc, PU, Teflon, nylon belt, etc.). Belt conveyor is composed of driving device to tighten conveyor belt, middle frame and idler to form conveyor belt as traction and load-bearing components, so as to continuously convey bulk materials or finished products.

Belt conveyor principle:

Belt conveyor is a kind of friction-driven machine which transports materials in a continuous way. It can form a material conveying process from the initial feeding point to the final unloading point on a certain conveying line. It can not only carry out the transportation of fragmented materials, but also carry out the transportation of finished goods.

The belt conveyor is mainly composed of two end drums and a closed conveyor belt which is tightly sleeved on them. The drum that the belt conveyor rotates is called driving drum (driving drum); the other drum that only changes the direction of the belt movement is called directional drum. The driving drum is driven by a motor through a reducer, and the conveyor belt is driven by the friction force between the driving drum and the conveyor belt. The driving drum is usually installed at the unloading end to increase the traction force, which is conducive to dragging. The material is fed by the feeding end and falls on the rotating conveyor belt. The discharging end of the conveyor bag is driven by the friction of the conveyor belt.

Belt conveyor equipment adjustment:

Before starting the machine, the equipment should be adjusted and the empty test run after adjustment. If the conveyor belt runs left and right, the driven roll should be adjusted so that the conveyor rotates several times and all can be used after normal operation.

Maintenance of belt conveyor equipment:

Under normal operation, the active and driven roller bearings should be filled with 3 # lithium grease for half a year.
